Here at Shirley Aldred, we are the original manufacturers of the Cardiff Aldasorber. The Cardiff Aldasorber was born out of research by eminent anaesthesiologists of the Department of Anaesthetics at the Welsh National School of Medicine. Shirley Aldred Ltd was originally based in Worksop until the year 1990 when it relocated to its current home in the Hope Valley. The Cardiff Aldasorber presents an economic and clinically approved solution to the problems of pollution of the operating-room atmosphere by organic anaesthetic vapours, therefore offering protection to theatre personnel against possible long and short term harmful effects through chronic exposure.
Shirley Aldred have a large amount of experience of tailoring products to individual customers needs. Over the years we have manufactured a large variety and different models of the Cardiff Aldasorber and equipment to use alongside our medical filters. We have previously offered products including a Double Ended Cardiff Aldasorbers, The Mini Cardiff Aldasorber, The Aldascale, The Acrylasorber, The Acrylascale and The Aldavac. As well a large variety of models of medical filters, we also offer filter production in our customers own branding and have been supplying some of the largest veterinary and medical suppliers in a worldwide market.
